Kuala Lumpur University of Science and Technology (KLUST)

Kuala Lumpur University of Science and Technology (KLUST), formerly Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL), was established in 1998 following the privatisation of IKRAM, the research and training institute of Malaysia's Public Works Department. It achieved full university status in 2013 and became known as Malaysia's first infrastructure university. The university sits on a green 100-acre campus in Kajang, Selangor, between Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Its new name reflects a stronger focus on science and technology, building on a long heritage in engineering, the built environment and infrastructure-related studies.
